Kuramoto Kazuki started dating Mihashi Eri after she confessed her feelings to him in their second year of middle school. Ever since they first became intimate during the summer of their third year, their bond deepened significantly. Their relationship is even officially recognized by both of their parents. For high school, the three of them, Kazuki, his good friend Komine Isao, and Eri, enrolled in Tokyo Metropolitan Ohashi High School. It's a college-preparatory school, for what it's worth. About half a year later, a strange rumor started to spread. A rumor that Eri is dating the ace of the basketball team. Although it's true that Eri has been distant lately, he thought there was no way the rumor could be true, so when he asked her about it in person, she told him it was just something spread by someone jealous of our relationship. But after she stood him up on their planned date, as he was walking through town anyway, he saw Eri walking with a guy he didn't know.
